It is my honour to be the Secretary of North Bengal Sahodaya School Complex, Siliguri. I feel extremely privileged to have been given the opportunity to hold this prestigious post and serve our community.

NBSSC which was established in Siliguri in the year 2011, when it was felt that the CBSE Schools of this region should build a community of Schools that would be built on the CBSE moto of ‘Sharing and caring’.

From a humble beginning with 15 members of Schools of North Bengal, now we have grown to a huge tree with approx. 80 members Schools of North Bengal covering six Districts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Coochbihar, Alipurduar,Kalimpong and North Dinajpur.

The Schools under this umbrella take great pride in helping one another whenever they are in need, they do their best to promote the cause of education by helping the students, teachers, and All principals interact on a plat form that enables them to improve in all spheres- Academics, Knowledge, sports and other activities, thus creating an improved educational atmosphere in the schools of this region.

Since its inception, the Executive body members of NBSSC and the Governing body members have put in their best efforts to maintain unity and integrity and a healthy relation amongst all.

We have Faced many Challenges from Various external agencies especially during covid and post covid Era, but due to our strong bond and unity we could overcome all the difficult times and situations very bravely.

Sahodaya gives us this opportunity and strength of coming together, forming an interactive and sharing relationship and a productive partnership.

It is time for us to seek out networks, connect and collaborate as much as possible.

 Let us learn, unlearn, and relearn from each other to improve the educational outcomes of our children.

I look forward to make my humble contributions, together with all members of North Bengal Sahodaya School Complex,Siliguri, to bring about a marked positive difference in education.
